How to uninstall bzip2-doc from Ubuntu

Uninstall bzip2-doc

To uninstall just bzip2-doc package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove bzip2-doc

Uninstall bzip2-doc and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the bzip2-doc package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove bzip2-doc

Purging bzip2-doc

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of bzip2-doc from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge bzip2-doc

To delete configuration and/or data files of bzip2-doc and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge bzip2-doc
