How to uninstall busybox-static from Ubuntu

Uninstall busybox-static

To uninstall just busybox-static package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove busybox-static

Uninstall busybox-static and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the busybox-static package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove busybox-static

Purging busybox-static

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of busybox-static from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge busybox-static

To delete configuration and/or data files of busybox-static and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge busybox-static
