How to uninstall brltty-speechd from Ubuntu

Uninstall brltty-speechd

To uninstall just brltty-speechd package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove brltty-speechd

Uninstall brltty-speechd and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the brltty-speechd package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove brltty-speechd

Purging brltty-speechd

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of brltty-speechd from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge brltty-speechd

To delete configuration and/or data files of brltty-speechd and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge brltty-speechd
