How to uninstall awn-applet-showdesktop from Ubuntu

Uninstall awn-applet-showdesktop

To uninstall just awn-applet-showdesktop package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove awn-applet-showdesktop

Uninstall awn-applet-showdesktop and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the awn-applet-showdesktop package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove awn-applet-showdesktop

Purging awn-applet-showdesktop

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of awn-applet-showdesktop from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge awn-applet-showdesktop

To delete configuration and/or data files of awn-applet-showdesktop and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge awn-applet-showdesktop
