How to uninstall avahi-discover from Ubuntu

Uninstall avahi-discover

To uninstall just avahi-discover package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove avahi-discover

Uninstall avahi-discover and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the avahi-discover package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove avahi-discover

Purging avahi-discover

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of avahi-discover from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge avahi-discover

To delete configuration and/or data files of avahi-discover and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge avahi-discover
