How to uninstall asn1c from Ubuntu

Uninstall asn1c

To uninstall just asn1c package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove asn1c

Uninstall asn1c and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the asn1c package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove asn1c

Purging asn1c

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of asn1c from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge asn1c

To delete configuration and/or data files of asn1c and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge asn1c
