How to uninstall aria2 from Ubuntu

Uninstall aria2

To uninstall just aria2 package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove aria2

Uninstall aria2 and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the aria2 package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove aria2

Purging aria2

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of aria2 from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge aria2

To delete configuration and/or data files of aria2 and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge aria2

section net
