How to uninstall ardour-altivec from Ubuntu

Uninstall ardour-altivec

To uninstall just ardour-altivec package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove ardour-altivec

Uninstall ardour-altivec and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the ardour-altivec package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove ardour-altivec

Purging ardour-altivec

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of ardour-altivec from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge ardour-altivec

To delete configuration and/or data files of ardour-altivec and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge ardour-altivec

ardour-altivec package information

section sound
