How to uninstall apt-dater from Ubuntu

Uninstall apt-dater

To uninstall just apt-dater package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove apt-dater

Uninstall apt-dater and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the apt-dater package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove apt-dater

Purging apt-dater

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of apt-dater from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge apt-dater

To delete configuration and/or data files of apt-dater and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge apt-dater
