How to uninstall apcupsd-cgi from Ubuntu

Uninstall apcupsd-cgi

To uninstall just apcupsd-cgi package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove apcupsd-cgi

Uninstall apcupsd-cgi and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the apcupsd-cgi package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove apcupsd-cgi

Purging apcupsd-cgi

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of apcupsd-cgi from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge apcupsd-cgi

To delete configuration and/or data files of apcupsd-cgi and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge apcupsd-cgi
