How to uninstall annodex-tools from Ubuntu

Uninstall annodex-tools

To uninstall just annodex-tools package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove annodex-tools

Uninstall annodex-tools and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the annodex-tools package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove annodex-tools

Purging annodex-tools

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of annodex-tools from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge annodex-tools

To delete configuration and/or data files of annodex-tools and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge annodex-tools

This package contains tools that can be used to create and modify Annodex media. The Annodex media format allows annotations and indexes in streaming media and other types of continuous data, which can be used for hyperlinked video amongst other things.

apt-get remove is identical to install except that packages are removed instead of installed. Note that removing a package leaves its configuration files on the system. If a plus sign is appended to the package name (with no intervening space), the identified package will be installed instead of removed.
