How to uninstall amavisd-new-postfix from Ubuntu

Uninstall amavisd-new-postfix

To uninstall just amavisd-new-postfix package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove amavisd-new-postfix

Uninstall amavisd-new-postfix and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the amavisd-new-postfix package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove amavisd-new-postfix

Purging amavisd-new-postfix

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of amavisd-new-postfix from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge amavisd-new-postfix

To delete configuration and/or data files of amavisd-new-postfix and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge amavisd-new-postfix
