How to uninstall alsaplayer-esd from Ubuntu

Uninstall alsaplayer-esd

To uninstall just alsaplayer-esd package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove alsaplayer-esd

Uninstall alsaplayer-esd and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the alsaplayer-esd package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove alsaplayer-esd

Purging alsaplayer-esd

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of alsaplayer-esd from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge alsaplayer-esd

To delete configuration and/or data files of alsaplayer-esd and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge alsaplayer-esd
