How to uninstall alsaplayer-alsa from Ubuntu

Uninstall alsaplayer-alsa

To uninstall just alsaplayer-alsa package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove alsaplayer-alsa

Uninstall alsaplayer-alsa and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the alsaplayer-alsa package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove alsaplayer-alsa

Purging alsaplayer-alsa

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of alsaplayer-alsa from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge alsaplayer-alsa

To delete configuration and/or data files of alsaplayer-alsa and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge alsaplayer-alsa
