How to uninstall address-book-service from Ubuntu

Uninstall address-book-service

To uninstall just address-book-service package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove address-book-service

Uninstall address-book-service and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the address-book-service package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove address-book-service

Purging address-book-service

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of address-book-service from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge address-book-service

To delete configuration and/or data files of address-book-service and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge address-book-service
